    فـــــــــن الــتـرجمــــة ملاحظات هامة قبل البدء في الترجمة . يجب قراءة قطعة الترجمة كلها مرة واحدة وفهم موضوعها وجملها . عند الترجمة نترجم حسب المعنى وليس ترجمة حرفية. حاول تخمين الكلمة التي لا تعرفها و إذا كان هناك كلمة عربية لا تعرف معناها الإنجليزي فحاول أن تستخدم كلمة مرادفة لها ثم تترجمها. حاول ترجمة كل جملة منفصلة في سياق القطعة مع استخدام أدوات الربط والقواعد الصحيحة . تذكر ما يلي : 1- تتكون الجملة الإنجليزية من فاعل + فعل + مفعول أو تكمله . Subject + verb + object or complement - تتكون الجملة العربية من فعل + فاعل + مفعول أو شبه جملة . 2- عند الترجمة يجب مراعاة نفس الزمن والصيغة عند الترجمة .

3- إذا كانت الجملة مبنية للمجهول فحاول ترجمتها وبنائها للمجهول . 4- لا تترجم عبارة " لقد؛ أن؛ إن " 5- إذا كان هناك كلمات صعبة مثل " لزاما علينا أن......... فإننا نأتي بمرادفها باللغة العربية ثم نترجمها إلي اللغة الإنجليزية.( يجب أن ) We should, We must 6- تسبق الصفة الموصوف في اللغة الإنجليزية. a clever boy a beautiful garden يقصد getحروف الجر في اللغة الإنجليزية عن اللغة العربية. يقصد get at ينفجر Go off 8- المفعول المطلق لا يترجم يعمل عملا شاقا He works hard 9- عبارة انه: تترجم “ it is " لغير العاقل " he is " للعاقل. 10- الجملة العربية المكونة من مبتدأ وخبر نحضر لها فعل "be" مثال: الكمبيوتر أهم اختراع في العصر الحديث. Computer is the most important invention in modern times. 11- في حالة المضاف إليه تستخدم Of بينهما أو نبدأ بالمضاف إليه ثم المضاف World Civilization حضارة العالم = the civilization of world Living standard مستوى المعيشة = the standard of living 12- إذا وجدت كلمة لقد في اللغة العربية نضع الجملة الانجليزية في زمن المضارع التام لقد ساعد العلم الإنسان على أن يحيا حياة مريحة Science has helped man to lead a comfortable life. 13- هناك مجموعة من الأفعال في اللغة الانجليزية لا تأخذ حرف جر بينما تأخذ حرف اللغة جر في اللغة العربية Affect يؤثر على enjoy يستمتع بــ feel يشعر بــ Celebrate يحتفل بــ contain يحتوى على arrest يقبض على 14- الجملة الانجليزية متصلة عن بعضها بنقطة عن الترجمة باللغة العربية تربط هذه الجملة بالروابط المختلفة مثل ( الفاء – و – ثم – ومن ثم – وبذلك – كما أن – لهذا – الآن ) Success in life depends on patience and hard work.
